April 25th - 27th Race Weekend
Souped-up riding lawn mowers roaring around a tight race track means only one thing…the drivers from the Northern Neck Lawnmower Racing Association are back with this wonderfully noisy, fast moving event.

May 9th -11th Mother’s Day Weekend
Treat Mom to a special weekend full of events just for her. On Saturday, kids are making a special gift for mom at their craft work shop, while the moms go shopping at our Mother’s Day Craft Show and Bake Sale. Sunday, don’t miss our special Mother’s Day Brunch where MOM EATS FREE!

May 23rd -26th Memorial Day Weekend
This special three-day weekend is the traditional beginning of summer fun. It’s when our pools open for the season, so break out the bathing suit and jump in! The BETHPAGER begins her one and one-half hour rivah cruises. We will have a big crafts show and bake sale that’s sure to please, and many other exciting activities.

June 13th -15th Father’s Day Weekend
There will be team competition with the Dads and Kids Mini-Olympics events as well as a freshwater fishing tournament for the largest and smallest fish, sand castle building, bean bag baseball and a scavenger hunt. The highlight of Saturday evening will be the ice cream social.

June 20th - 22nd Magical Weekend
It’s an Abracadabra weekend! Magical things await you at Bethpage Camp-Resort. Our magician will delight and amaze you and your family with mind boggling tricks. You won’t believe your eyes. There will also be many other planned activities to surprise and enjoy.

June 27th -29th Chocolate Weekend
Everybody loves chocolate! Things might get a little messy, but hey, who cares, it’s chocolate. So, if you are a lover of all things chocolate, then you’ll want to make sure you’re here so you can enter our chocolate eating contest.

July 3rd - 6th Independence Day Weekend
Come celebrate the 4th of July weekend with us. It’s a spectacular time to be here. The grand event of your celebration is the Independence Day Weekend Parade. Decorated golf carts, bicycles, and roller blades transport people in costumes throughout the resort. After the parade you can cool off at our tasty Watermelon Feast. Fireworks down on the waterfront in Urbanna will light up the evening sky on July 4th. The BETHPAGER fireworks cruise tickets go on sale Tuesday, July 1st. Seating is limited for this special trip, so make your plans early.

July 11th -13th Reality Show Craze Weekend
Not sure you are ready for the real American Idol or Lets Make a Deal, practice on us. This weekend will have game show activities, team challenges, and will take our Talent Show to the next level. Start practicing now, because our judges will be tough.

July 18th -20th Casino Weekend
Casino Weekend is back by popular demand! So place your bets! You won’t win or lose any money, but you’re guaranteed to have a wonderful time. Everyone will receive Bethpage bucks to wager at the casino. If you are lucky, you can bid on a valuable prize at our live auction.

July 25th - 27th Mardi Gras Weekend
Mardi Gras is back at Bethpage Camp-Resort! The music, the costumes, the parade…the beads…and more than before. Need we say more?

August 1st - 3rd
Elvis Weekend & Urbanna Buy Boat Festival Weekend
Get ready to rock and roll with the King! Elvis comes to Bethpage and you won’t want to miss it. Un huh! Elvis will be performing and all you Elvis pretenders will have a chance to show your stuff at the Elvis look a like contest.
This weekend is also joined by the Urbanna Buy Boat Festival. Go downtown and enjoy exhibits, food vendors, entertainment, and view some great restored Buy Boats.

August 8th -10th Murder Mystery Weekend
Imagine a weekend where not everything is as it seems. Start sharpening your CSI skills now, so you can follow all the clues and solve the murder. Many games and scavenger hunts for all to enjoy.

August 15th -17th Steamed Crab Feast Weekend
ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT steamed Chesapeake Blue Crabs are what most folks come fot this weekend. Saturday night it’s a crab lovers feast. For those who don’t like crab, we’ll have a great landlubbers menu, complete with choice of beverages for all. As usual, we will also have a craft show and extra activities and events to fill out the weekend.

August 22nd - 24th Kids Only Weekend
Moms and Dads have had their weekends, now it’s time for the kids to have theirs. There will be an extra special Kids Crafts workshop, sandcastle building, a scavenger hunt, and much more. And don’t forget the Ice Cream Social on Saturday.

August 29th –September 1st Labor Day Weekend
The summer isn’t over yet, so come out for the last big holiday blow-out of the summer season. The pools are still open on Labor Day, and the water’s still fine, so jump on in. There will be crafts for the kids. During the day on Friday and Saturday, our Labor Day Craft Show and Bake Sale always draws a crowd. And you can relax on the beach and listen to the DJ or join in the limbo contest at the beach party.

September 5th - 7th Bluegrass Festival Weekend
Bluegrass Music Lovers, this weekend is for you. Enjoy the pickin’ and grinin’ with live music and a weekend full of wild west country fun, filled with food, games and fun for all ages.

September 26th - 28th Wings & Wheels Weekend
Airplane and automotive fans, this weekend is for you. Hummel Field in nearby Topping is the headquarters for this weekend. There will be antique planes and classic cars along with plenty to eat and great entertainment at the airfield.

October 3rd - 5th Camper Appreciation Weekend
It’s time for us to show our appreciation for your visits. Come and take part in our “thank you” weekend, and our free Hot Dog Roast on Saturday night. As the 2008 season draws to a close we invite everyone back for the 2009 season.

October 10th -12th 17th Annual Rivah Rally Weekend
Here are two days of wonderful food, fun, and great entertainment, along with new RV’s on display and vendors of camping supplies. There’ll be fall cruises on the Rappahanock River from our docks aboard the BETHPAGER, plus our big annual craft show and bake sale. Our weekend “prepaid package” includes; the Friday night dinner and entertainment, Saturday morning country breakfast, and Saturday night’s All-You-Can-Eat Crab Feast, with Landlubber menu.

October 24th -26th Halloween Weekend I
October 31st - November 2nd Halloween Weekend II
Our Haunted Hayrides have become legend. This year they will run on both weekends. Nobody knows what will happen along the way, so keep a sharp eye as the wagons travel into the night. Creatures could be lurking about. On October 25th, we’ll also have our Spooky Bonfire with ghost stories and Halloween Tales. On the evening of November 1st, we’ll have our annual Halloween Party. There will be a costume contest for all ages and tasty treats for the kids. Show your spirit in our Pumpkin Carving and Site Decorating Contests. Prizes will be awarded. Try your luck at the cake walk. Come and join us…if you dare!

November 7th - 9th 51st Annual Urbanna Oyster Festival Weekend
Originally called “Urbanna Days”, the festival was established to promote the town and it’s economy. In those first years the event was a relatively small gathering of local folks highlighted by a parade comprised primarily of antique cars. Today, over 90,000 people venture to the historic port town of Urbanna to partake of the food, fun, and festivities. The fireman’s parade on Friday night is filled with fire and rescue units from across the state of Virginia. There’s the Oyster Shucking Contest with the best in the world competing, the Oyster Festival Parade, plus many other activities, exhibits and vendors. Transportation to and from town is available on our hay wagons or onboard our restored Chesapeake Bay Deadrise, the BETHPAGER. The Urbanna Oyster Festival is the busiest weekend of the year here at Bethpage. We highly recommend that you make your camping reservations as early as you can.

November 15th Resort Closes for the Season
